The Mission of the Red Cross

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster, and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

NEW COURSE OFFERING

A new course has been added to our regular 2008 Training Schedule. A Review Level Course will now be offered as follows:

2nd Thursday of the month: 1:00 - 4:00 pm

4th Thursday of the month: 6:00 - 9:00 pm

A review course is an abbreviated version of a full CPR/AED or First Aid Course. It is designed to help those that need recertification in these areas but do not feel comfortable enough to take a recertification challenge.

5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.at the Licking County Red Cross Training Room.
The class fee is $40.00 and includes a dog and cat manual with a DVD.

June 9-20, 2008 - Learn-To-Swim Classes at the Heath City Water Park. Choose one these sessions:
9:30 am to 10:10 am
10:20 am to 11:00 am.
Members register at Heath City Water Park June 2nd at 10:00 am.
Nonmembers register at Heath City Water Park June 3rd at 10:00 am.

June 7-18, 2008 - Learn-To-Swim Classes at the Heath City Water Park. Choose one these sessions:
9:30 am to 10:10 am
10:20 am to 11:00 am
7:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Members register at Heath City Water Park June 23rd at 10:00 am
Nonmembers register at Heath City Water Park June 24rd at 10:00 am.

June 16, 2008 - Safety City 2008 in Granville, Newark and Pataskala. This program is only for children entering Kindergarten this fall, and the cost per child is $15.00.

June 20, 2008 - 22nd Annual Golf Outing Join us in one of the most storied golf events of the season. The Granville Golf Course will play host to this year's outing.
